Farming is Zach's game

Well as many of you know farming is my son's passion. He has been obsessed with tractors and farms for quite awhile now. (at least three years of his young life)
We took the Kaw Valley Farm Tour yesterday. For those of you who don't know, the tour is a tour of local or semi-local farms that produce and sell local goods...well locally..hehe. Anyways there are lots of farms that participate in this annual two day event. We were able to spend most of Sunday visiting farms, we got to see 5 of them, which is about a 1/4 of the farms open for visitors.
Anyways..it was a blast and Zach got to share some of his vast farming knowledge with others and do fun things like: jump in a whole tub of dried shucked corn, visit a butterfly pavillion, milk a goat(he's an old pro at this), pet numerous animals, chase kittens, pump water, shuck corn, run through a maze, paint pumpkins, pull the release on a pumkin cannon, climb a mountain of mulch, ride on two different hay rides;one horse driven, one tractor, climb a hay loft, and the list goes on...wow! We ended the day by attending a friends birthday party at a gymnastics studio, and we came home, made dinner and I sat on the couch and did not move for the rest of the evening.
